Rosemary Revitalising Shampoo

Rosemary Leaf Oil is an essential oil, which is derived from its branches and flowering branch tips. Along with other natural essential oils it is used for aromatisation.

The sodium salt of hyaluronic acid is characterized in particular by the long rows of repetitive sugar units it contains. In hair and skin care products, sodium hyaluronate shows moisturizing properties.

Coco-Glucosides are mild, washing-active substances with decent detergency and foaming power. They are produced from vegetable oils and are therefore readily biodegradable. Coco-Glucosides are also especially well-suited to cleanse sensitive skin.

Glycerin is a natural ingredient in vegetable and animal fats and oils, which mainly consists of triglycerides (compound of glycerol with three fatty acids). In cosmetic products glycerin is used as a moisturising agent due to its hygroscopic (water-attracting) properties. Besides that, it helps with the distribution of O/W emulsions (oil-in-water-emulsions) and it smoothes and protects the skin.

Disoidum Cocoyl Glutamate is a mild surfactant with very good cleaning properties and a very good foam performance. It is very suitable for cleaning hair and sensitive skin. Vegetable oils and sugar are the raw materials that are used to manufacture this detergent.

Xanthan Gum is a high molecular weight, long chain carbohydrate (polysaccharide), which is used as a natural gelling agent, emulsion stabiliser, binder and viscosity regulator.

Betaine is an amino acid derivative and occurs both in plants and in the human organism. In cosmetic products, Betaine is used as a moisturizer in products for the skin as well as the hair, as it is able to absorb and release water. Betaine is obtained from sugar molasses.

Fragrance (Parfum) is the collective name for raw materials that are used to perfume cosmetic products. For such products, Weleda only ever uses a mixtures of natural essential oils. Synthetic fragrances are not utilised.

Beta-Caryophyllene is a natural component of various essential oils used to scent skincare products for it's spicy, woody aroma. This is one of the 80+ fragrances that must be listed in the INCI declaration in the EU from 2028 to protect fragrance allergy sufferers if they are present in quantities that could potentially be relevant to a fragrance allergy sufferer.

Camphor is a white, crystalline ingredient of various essential oils with a strong, aromatic odour. It's derived from the wood of the camphor tree (Cinnamomum camphora) and has a variety of uses. Camphor is used in skincareto improve the scent of skincare. Camphor belongs to the 80+ fragrances that have to be listed in the INCI-Declaration starting from 2028 under EU law, for the protection of people with sensitivity towards fragrance allergens, if the amount in the product is potentially relevant to the allergic person.

Limonene belongs to the 26 fragrances that have to be listed in the INCI-Declaration since 2005 under EU law, for the protection of fragrance allergy sufferers, if the amount in the product is potentially relevant to the allergy sufferer. Limonene is a natural ingredient of various essential oils that are used to improve the odour of cosmetic products.

Pinene, a naturally occurring terpene, found in essential oils like pine, sage, and rosemary. It is used in skincare for its potential anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties, as well as its ability to improve skin tone and reduce pore size. However, it can also be a skin sensitiser for some individuals.
