Face care and tips for sensitive skin

Weleda's natural skincare with almond or white mallow soothe, protect, and care for sensitive skin

Some people are naturally more sensitive than others. This can also be expressed through our skin. Predisposition, stress, or environmental influences can be the reason why the skin reacts sensitively to external factors. Its protective layer is more permeable, and external stimuli can penetrate more easily. The skin tries to compensate for this by resorting to self-help and reacting with reinforcement. The result is irritated, reddened skin that often tends to dryness. Sensitive skin needs protection that envelops it, brings the skin into balance, and strengthens its natural skin barrier.

Dry skin? Redness? Irritations and tensions?

The unscented Sensitive Face Care from Weleda was specially developed for sensitive skin. It soothes the skin, strengthens its skin barrier, and provides it with everything it needs.

Day and night care

For sensitive dry skin, the Sensitive Soothing Moisturiser rich formula and helps alleviate skin irritations and itching.

For sensitive combination skin, Sensitive Soothing Moisturiser - Light's lighter texture is more gentle.

Daily facial cleansing can additionally irritate sensitive skin. The creamy Sensitive Gentle Milk Cleanser is the perfect complement to the Sensitive Care series to gently cleanse the face daily. It maintains the skin's moisture, keeps it in natural balance, and preserves its microbiome. You can also remove makeup well with the cleansing milk.

Less is more for sensitive skin

Both Sensitive Face Creams have only nine ingredients in total, the cleansing milk only seven, including precious almond oil.

Only three natural ingredients are contained in the Sensitive Recovery Facial Oil. The intensive care with plum kernel, organic almond oil, and sloe blossom extract soothes irritated skin and makes it more resilient. The oil activates the skin's renewal process and supports the skin's natural protective function.

The almond demonstrates an optimal balance of forces: Its hard shell protects what is most valuable to it – the core. Therefore, it is ideal for the care of sensitive skin.
